Providing accurate asbestos testing for homes and workplaces

Not sure which type of asbestos inspection you need? Forensic Laboratories offers three specialized testing methods for homes and workplaces in Rio Vista, Fairfield, and the Bay Area.

Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) uses light to detect asbestos in bulk materials like insulation, making it ideal for testing a variety of materials. Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) utilizes a high-energy beam to magnify fibers, providing detailed imaging and making it the most sensitive method for air testing. Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) counts fibers in air samples using light diffraction. It’s the fastest and most cost-effective method, though less sensitive than TEM.
